Less isn’t a retreat. It’s a revolution.

For more than 15 years I’ve coached high-achieving executives, founders, and leaders through one question: what if the relentless pursuit of more is the very thing keeping you from the life you want?

Less Over More

How to Rethink Your Path, Reset Your Future, and Rebuild the Life You Love · Matt Holt Books / BenBella

Less Over More challenges one of the most deeply held myths in modern culture: that more work, more money, more stuff, and more achievement are the path to a meaningful life.

It blends raw personal narrative with practical frameworks rooted in psychology and neuroscience — the LESS Activation Framework, the Thought Flow Model, and rightsizing versus wrongsizing — arguing that true abundance comes from strategic subtraction, not constant addition.

MY STORY

What if the life that looks successful isn’t the one you want?

For much of my life, I was really good at more. More responsibility, more achievement, more goals. By most traditional measures it worked — my career has run from corporate leadership to real estate, entrepreneurship, coaching, speaking, and becoming an author.

After thousands of hours coaching executives and high achievers, I noticed a pattern: they rarely lacked ambition. They were carrying too much — too many priorities, expectations, and definitions of success inherited from someone else. I realized the breakthrough wasn’t always adding another strategy. Sometimes we have to subtract something first. Those questions became my book, Less Over More.

I’m not against more. I love growth and big goals. But I’ve learned to ask a better question: more of what? Less and more aren’t opposites — less is the process, more is the outcome. Today, as a coach, speaker, author, and host of The Mindset Architect, my work centers on one idea: success should be intentional, not inherited.

WHAT I BELIEVE

Success built on misalignment eventually
collapses.

01

More is a myth.

The relentless pursuit of more money, more stuff, more achievement is the single biggest source of burnout and disconnection today.

02

Less is the great multiplier.

Choosing less isn't scarcity, it's liberation. Clear the clutter and you make room for more peace, more purpose, and ironically more success.

03

You've been running someone else's race.

Most people chase goals that were never theirs. The antidote to goal drift is goal activation — meaning over external validation.

04

Rightsizing is not downsizing.

The goal isn't a smaller life. It's a truer one.

KEYNOTES & SPEAKING

Topics I speak on

DEFINE IT

Redefining Success: Whose Story Are You Living?

Many people pursue success without ever defining what it means to them — their goals shaped by family, culture, and expectation, leaving them successful on paper but disconnected from the life they built. Tony challenges audiences to uncover their inherited definitions and replace them with one grounded in their own values, meaning, purpose, and impact.

→

Recognize where their definition of success originated

→

Distinguish meaningful goals from impressive numbers

→

Define success through its impact on self, family, team, and legacy

→

Create a personal definition of success that guides better decisions

You cannot create success on your terms until you define what those terms are.
MAKE ROOM FOR IT

Less Over More: Making Room for What Matters Most

More isn’t inherently wrong. The problem is accumulating the wrong more — responsibilities, goals, expectations, and commitments that consume our resources without supporting the life we actually want. Drawing from his book Less Over More, Tony shows audiences how to identify what needs to be subtracted or rightsized to create greater capacity for what matters most.

→

Identify the “wrong more” consuming time, energy, attention, and resources

→

Use values to determine what deserves space

→

Rightsize personal and professional commitments

→

Use subtraction to create greater focus, joy, and impact

Less and more aren’t opposites. Less is the process. More is the outcome.
CREATE IT

What You Pay Attention To Pays Attention Back

Our thoughts and attention influence how we feel, the actions we take, and ultimately the results we create. Using his Thought Flow Model, Tony shows audiences how to recognize limiting thought patterns and intentionally redirect their focus toward what they actually want.

→

Understand how thoughts influence feelings, actions, and results

→

Separate what happened from the meaning assigned to it

→

Transform limiting beliefs into powerful assumptions

→

Shift attention from avoidance toward clear, meaningful outcomes

Your focus and attention create your reality by directing your energy, choices, and actions.
Three distinct keynotes. One powerful idea: success becomes more intentional when we define what matters, make room for it, and direct our attention toward creating it.
